INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Children come to therapy for a variety of reasons, most commonly anxiety, fears, sadness, and behavioral challenges. Our work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and tailored to each child’s developmental needs. We engage children through play and creative expression to help them build an “emotional toolbox” of practical coping skills. Through this process, children learn to better understand their emotions, strengthen regulation, and approach everyday challenges with greater confidence. We are committed to providing culturally attuned care, recognizing and honoring each child’s unique background, identity, and lived experience.

Adolescents face increasing academic, social, and emotional demands while working to establish independence. Many teens experience heightened levels of stress and anxiety, often without the tools to manage them effectively. Our approach combines skills-based, CBT-informed strategies with a supportive and collaborative environment. We help adolescents identify and express their emotions, develop healthier coping patterns, and build resilience. Treatment focuses on stress management, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and creating a more balanced and sustainable lifestyle, while remaining responsive to the cultural and contextual factors that shape each adolescent’s experience.

Adults seek therapy for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, life transitions, parenting challenges, and relationship stress. We offer a thoughtful, personalized approach that integrates CBT and a biopsychosocial perspective, addressing the interplay of emotional, relational, and environmental factors. Our work is grounded in a commitment to culturally responsive care, ensuring that each client feels understood, respected, and supported within the context of their identity, values, and experiences. Our goal is to help clients develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change while fostering greater clarity, balance, and well-being.
